Ok, I am planning on building another computer shortly that will take advantage of the 64 bit processing and 2 processors while using PTLE 7. What kind of motherboard will support 2 processors? Please advise.

do you want two separate processors or a single dual core processor? Do you want MAC or PC operating systems? I just bought and tested an ASUS A8N-SLI-Premium motherboard with an AMD X2 XP4400+ dual core processor and got a stellar rating on the DAVEC 2 tests. Not too expensive either. That motherboard with the stated processor and 2GB of memory would run about $700. A full box with dual drives you can build yourself for around $1200-1400 with a reasonably hot video card.

I am looking for 2 dual core processors and a motherboard to go with (PC). I built a PC with a hyperthreading processor, which is nice because PT finally caught up to this. But I want to eventually have a PC that will FLY. I figured 2 processors would help, especially dual core. I realize this would be a complete build for a new computer. Does anyone out there have any suggestions?
