Solo "Toggle"???

New to Reaper. Anyone know how I can set solo mode to toggle? Example; hit solo on a track and all other tracks that were solo'd prior mute.

For exclusive solo hold CTRL+ALT while you click on a solo button. Rightclick the solo button to find out about some more modifier + click solo options.

You can set a key up in actions menu (search for "solo" but it might already be on "s" :)

He'd need a custom action for exclusive solo. Combine - Track: Unsolo all tracks - Track: Solo selected tracks Can't toggle solo off with that one, though, if you run it on an already soloed track.

... I just forgetten about this.. but now it's back to haunt me. Reaper needs a mouseless "Toggle exclusive solo for selected track button" button . Seriously. It's been really cumbersome when comparing mixes to reference tracks. Imagine the usefulness of "Toggle exclusive solo for selected track button" buton, Track 1 is reference, Track 2 is your mix exported as stereo mix. Hit page up (track selection) , it automatically solo's Track 1, page down , it automatically unsolo Track 1, and solo's Track 2. Want to hear both ? Shift + Page Up/Down (select multiple tracks) . Simple.

lawrs, I was irritaded by 'mouseless button', but if you want a key-command doing exclusive solo, that's what the macro in post#4 does. Only niggle is you can't unsolo all with it.

CTRL+leftclick is 'unsolo all'. The above macro works identically to ALT+CTRL+leftclick (which also won't toggle a track's solo off if it happens to be on). Maybe one could do it with ReaScript? Sort of "if the selected track is the only one track that is soloed, then turn solo off" decision.
