I give up ( Please Help)

Midi out from keyboard into Midi in on 002 Rack. Midi In from keyboard into Midi out on 002 rack 1/4 inch Left & Right out from keyboard into Line Instrument 1 & 2 on 002 rack Problem now is when I create a midi track I set my input to ALL & my keyboard is not selectable in the output or anywhere else. I can control other sounds that are in my computer coming out from my computer speakers, but my keyboard sounds are no where to be found. Please Help

So you are trying to use your keyboard as the MIDI sound source to play MIDI out from PT? Please clarify this for us and maybe we can help. --joe

Create a stereo aux input and assign line inputs 1 & 2 as it's inputs.

I was just thinking about something right now, Is it possible to use my roland keyboard as a midi controller & at the same time pull up it's sounds in Pro Tools? The sounds that are in my keyboard I want to use them in Pro Tools, the thing is I want to sequence in Pro Tools using the sounds from the Keyboard. I've done this before on another setup, the problem is it was almost 2 years ago on a Mac & I just forgot how to do it. I was working with a TDM setup. All I want to do is sequence in Pro Tools using my KEyboard as a Midi controller & at the same time pulling up the sounds from that keyboard. If anyone out there can make my headach go away, please help Thank you

Frank, I made a quick tutorial on my HELP section of my site. This is how I would do it at least. I wonder if the problem I'm having is because I have my 002 hooked up to my firewire port on my soundcard. I'm literally stumped & have no idea what to do, please help anyone

Why would midi be my only problem then? My pro tools rig works fine it's just that I'm unable to use the sounds that are in my keyboard via midi in protools using that same keyboard as a controller. In the output sectoin my keyboard/hardware device does'nt even come up as an option. I feel like it's something very simple that I'm just missing, hopefully I can figure this out as it's driving me crazy , peace
